Objectives

The BusinessIncubator Management Training Institute (SUMMIT) was designed to provide theincubator sector with the academic training but especially the practical,everyday management tools needed to successfully design and operate businessincubators and realize in full their growth potential. In addition toconventional intensive training seminars, this training comprised didacticcontents, methodologies, materials and tools especially adapted todistance-learning through new technologies. It combined self-learningon-line/off-line methods.

· To develop and integrate a pan-European trainingprogramme for incubator staff and managers as well as stakeholders and policymakers. 

· To create a training programme which can be impartedvia seminars, e-learning and self-study as best suited to users needs 

·  Ensuring a continuous exchange of experiences, bestpractices and materials for use among all stakeholders.
